Hi, I’m Dena, the owner of HomeWell Care Services here in the Wilmington/Carolina Beach area.

I started this company after spending 30 years in healthcare because I saw how often seniors and their families felt like just a number. I knew there had to be a better way—more personal, more thoughtful, more human.

That’s why I stay involved. I meet every client. I help match every caregiver. And I make sure our team feels supported—because when you feel valued, our clients feel it too.

What you’ll do

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal care
Help with mobility and transfers
Prepare meals and light housekeeping
Run errands or provide transportation when needed
Be a steady, caring presence in someone’s life

Who you are

You genuinely care about people
Reliable, compassionate, and patient
Experience as a caregiver, CNA, or home health aide is preferred
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
